Occhi is a display typeface, named for its distinctive eye-shaped counters. Inspired by 1970s Italian giallo films and 1960s American sci-fi novels, Occhi Bold is flashy, vulgar, and dynamic with a handmade feel.

 

In its current form, Occhi Bold is robust enough for use in athetlic arenas, including but not limited to signage, kits and gear, print posters, digital communications, and team + stadium brand identity. I plan to draw inline, double stroke, and ultra rectangular cuts to expand the possibilities. Cyrillic coming soon, Greek to follow!
